The Staff Selection Commission has activated the Week Preference facility for candidates of the SSC GD Constable Exam 2026 to make exam scheduling more flexible. Today, 15th April 2026, is the last date to submit your preferred exam week on the official portal. Candidates who fail to submit their choice by 5 PM may be allotted any week at the Commission’s discretion. This facility applies to candidates for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.
SSC GD Slot Booking 2026 Started
For the SSC GD Constable Exam 2026, the Commission has replaced the slot selection process with a Week Preference system. Candidates are not allowed to choose a specific exam date, shift, or city; instead, they can select their preferred exam week from the four options given by SSC.
The CBT is set to be held from 27th April to 30th May 2026, spanning four weeks. As per the official notice, this step has been taken to simplify the scheduling process while giving candidates some flexibility.
