Eligibility

Eligibility depends on the post. Two dates matter here, and many candidates confuse them.

Important OBC Rule

Only OBC (Delhi) candidates will get OBC reservation and age relaxation. OBC candidates from outside Delhi must apply as Unreserved (UR).

  • The OBC certificate must be valid on the crucial date, 04 November 2026.
  • The Non-Creamy Layer certificate must be issued after 01 April 2026.
  • The NCL certificate must not be dated later than 04 November 2026.

Senior PA / Personal Assistant

Tier-I: 90 MCQs, 90 marks, 90 minutes. The paper will be in English.

Junior Judicial Assistant

Tier-II (Descriptive English, 100 marks): Essay of 300 words (50 marks), Grammar (30 marks) and Translation of 25 words (20 marks).

Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon

Tier-I: 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 120 minutes. PwD candidates get 160 minutes. The paper is bilingual (English and Hindi), except the language questions.

For Process Server, the driving test is qualifying and will be held in real traffic conditions.

Negative Marking and Qualifying Marks

  • Negative marking: 0.25 mark for every wrong MCQ answer.
  • UR / EWS: minimum 50% qualifying marks.
  • OBC (Delhi) / SC / ST / PwBD / ESM: minimum 45%.

Important Instructions

  • Apply only once. Multiple registrations or applications can lead to cancellation and debarment from DSSSB exams.
  • No changes after submission. Name, category and other details cannot be corrected later.
  • Post and department preference will be taken at the interview stage by Delhi District Courts. It cannot be changed once submitted. Allocation is merit-cum-preference.
  • Exam centres may be in Delhi/NCR or other states, at the board’s decision. DSSSB can change or cancel centres.
  • Vacancies can change. The number may increase or decrease, even down to nil for some posts.
  • Not allowed at the exam centre: calculators, laptops, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earbuds, cameras, electronic watches, metallic items and similar gadgets. No safekeeping arrangement will be available.
