Candidates who have been allotted seats in the second round can now confirm their admission by July 27, while the allotment order is available for download through the official admission portal using their application number and password. The university has also released the DU UG CSAS Round 2 college-wise cut-off lists for candidates seeking admission for the 2026-27 academic session.
According to the updated admission schedule, colleges and departments will complete the verification and approval of online applications by July 28, while candidates must pay the admission fee online by July 29 to secure their allotted seats. The second round of the DU UG CSAS 2026 admission process witnessed significant movement, with 24,814 candidates receiving fresh seat allotments and 30,682 students securing upgrades to programmes or colleges that were higher on their preference lists. Meanwhile, 15,265 candidates who had opted to freeze their seats after the first round retained their previously allotted programmes and colleges without participating in the upgrade process.
The university clarified that candidates who selected the ‘Upgrade’ option during the first round of CSAS counselling were automatically considered for admission to higher-preference courses and colleges in Round 2, while those who chose to ‘Freeze’ their allotted seats continued with their original allocation.
Delhi University is conducting undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic year through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) based on CUET UG 2026 scores.
