IBPS has announced the Clerk Recruitment 2026 schedule. Online applications will open on August 1, while the preliminary and main exams are scheduled for October and December 2026, respectively.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued a short notification for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026. The recruitment is being conducted for the post of Customer Service Associate (CSA) in participating public sector banks. The online application process will start on August 1, 2026, and will remain open until August 21, 2026.
The complete notification, along with the online application link, will be published on the official IBPS website on August 1. It will contain details about the number of vacancies, eligibility conditions, educational qualifications, age limit, exam pattern, syllabus, application fee and selection process. According to the announced schedule, the Preliminary Examination will be held in October 2026, while the Main Examination is planned for December 2026. Both exams will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at exam centres across the country.
IBPS has also said that Pre-Examination Training (PET) for eligible candidates is expected to be organised in September 2026. The result of the preliminary exam is likely to be declared in November 2026, and the provisional allotment of selected candidates is expected in March 2027.
