Staff Selection Commission will release Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination Skill and Typing Test admit cards April 17. Exam April 22. Qualified candidates proceed to document verification for clerical posts.
The Staff Selection Commission will issue admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination Skill and Typing Test on April 17, 2026. Candidates can download their hall tickets from ssc.gov.in using their login details.
As per the updated plan, the test will now take place on April 22, 2026. It was earlier planned for April 10 but was postponed due to technical problems.

- Log in with your details
- View and download the hall ticket
- Save it for the exam day
Skill and Typing Test details
For DEO / DEO Grade A (Part A):
- Typing speed: 8,000 key presses per hour
- Test time: 15 minutes
- Passage length: around 2000–2200 key presses in English
- Extra 5 minutes for scribe users
For LDC / JSA (Part B):
- Language: Hindi or English (as chosen earlier, cannot be changed)
- English speed: 35 words per minute
- Hindi speed: 30 words per minute
- Test time: 10 minutes
- Extra 5 minutes for scribe users
- Visually impaired candidates with a scribe will have a passage read aloud
Candidates who pass this stage will move to document verification.
This exam is conducted to fill clerical and data entry jobs in central government offices.
