The final result of the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025, has been declared by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
As per the official notice, 1,731 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process. Their names have been released in the final selection list available on the commission’s official website.
The commission said candidates were required to attend the sliding and identity verification process on July 20 and 21, 2026. Those who did not appear will be marked absent and will not be considered for the final result.
During the allocation process, 585 candidates got the ‘Fix’ option, 1,028 selected ‘Float’, while 118 candidates received fresh allocations against vacancies created due to absent candidates.
Category-wise shortlisted candidates
As per the official data, all 1,731 reported vacancies have been filled through the provisional recommendations. The category-wise breakup is as follows:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 270
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 122
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 432
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 127
- Unreserved (UR): 780
