The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) is likely to announce the Class 10 SSLC public examination results for the 2025-26 academic session on May 20, according to media reports. Around 9 lakh students are waiting for the results across the state.
As per official data, 8,82,806 regular school students and 13,744 private candidates appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examinations. The exams began on March 11 at centres across the state. The evaluation process has concluded, and the Directorate is completing the final steps before the declaration of results.

Steps to Check Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 Results 2026
- Visit the official websites tnresults.nic.in or DGE Tamil Nadu
- Open the “SSLC Examination Results 2026” link
- Enter the roll number and date of birth
- Click on the submit button
- The result will appear on the screen
- Download and keep a printout for future use
Students will also be able to access their provisional marksheets through DigiLocker.
Apart from the websites, students can check their results through the official WhatsApp number 78452 52525. Schools will also send SMS alerts to registered mobile numbers.
Students may collect their results directly from their schools as well.
Details Mentioned on TN SSLC Marksheet
Students should carefully verify the details mentioned on their provisional marksheets after downloading the results. The marksheet will include:
- Student’s name
- Roll number
- Date of birth
- Parents’ names
- School name
- Subject-wise marks
- Total marks obtained
- Qualifying status
Students who find any mistake in the marksheet should contact their school authorities for correction. The online marksheet will remain provisional until the board issues the original certificates a few days after the result announcement.
