The Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examinations took place from March 11 to April 6, 2026 in offline mode at examination centres across the state.
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is expected to announce the TN SSLC Result 2026 on May 20, 2026. After the declaration of results, students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examinations will be able to check and download their provisional marksheets through TN Results and DigiLocker.
While the board has not officially confirmed the result timing, reports indicate that the results may be declared around 9:30 am. Students should keep their registration number and date of birth ready to avoid delays while accessing the result online.
The provisional marksheet will include subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, qualifying status and other examination details.

TN SSLC 2026 examination details
The Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examinations took place from March 11 to April 6, 2026 in offline mode at examination centres across the state.
The board conducted the examinations in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. Students also received 15 minutes before the examination to read the question paper and plan answers.
Steps to download TN SSLC marksheet from DigiLocker
- Visit the DigiLocker website or open the mobile application
- Sign in using the registered mobile number or Aadhaar credentials
- New users need to complete the registration process first
- Open the “Education” or “Results” section
- Select Tamil Nadu Board from the list
- Click on “SSLC Result 2026”
- Enter the required details including roll number and passing year
- Submit the details
- Download and save the provisional marksheet
- Previous years’ pass percentage
Last year, the Tamil Nadu board declared the SSLC results on May 16 and recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.80 per cent.
A total of 9,13,036 students appeared for the examination in 2025. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 95.88 per cent, while boys secured 91.74 per cent.
After the result declaration, students will also receive updates regarding revaluation, supplementary examinations and distribution of original marksheets through official Tamil Nadu board websites.
